Frequently Asked Questions

What changes were introduced in the shorter GRE format?

The test time was reduced from 3 hours 45 minutes to just 1 hour 58 minutes. The "Analyze an Argument" essay task was removed, leaving only one "Analyze an Issue" essay (30 minutes). The unscored research/experimental section was eliminated, and question counts in Verbal and Quant were reduced to 27 questions each across two sections.

How does Konversa's 1-on-1 mentorship work?

Unlike mass coaching institutes with 40+ students per batch, our batches are kept under 5 students. In addition, every student receives scheduled 1-on-1 sessions with our Quant and Verbal trainers to analyze individual mock tests, fix stubborn conceptual doubts, and refine timing strategies.

What score is considered good for top US/European MS & MBA programs?

A combined score of 320+ (Quant 165+, Verbal 155+) is highly competitive for top 30 US universities and prominent European institutes like TUM, RWTH Aachen, and ETH Zurich. Our tailored roadmaps specifically target the 320+ range.

What happens during the Free Demo session?

You will meet a senior GRE trainer for 45 minutes to assess your diagnostic strengths and weaknesses, experience our problem-solving shortcuts, and review a custom study calendar tailored to your application deadlines.
